Expressions of interest now open for the Darebin Bicycle Advisory Committee

Would you like to make help to make Darebin more bike-friendly? Are you or is somebody you know passionate about supporting cycling? Darebin Council are seeking expressions of interest for people who live, work or study in Darebin to join the Darebin Bicycle Advisory Committee. You will have the opportunity to shape projects, provide input and advice on strategies, and help us understand the issues faced by people riding on our streets.

What is required?
Applicants will have an understanding of community engagement, an interest in improving bicycle facilities, and a willingness to share ideas and support bike riding in its many forms (e.g. commuting, shopping, recreation, and riding to school).

Positions are voluntary and are held for a period of up to two years, starting in 2017 through to the end of 2019. We don’t take up too much of your time, with meetings held on a quarterly basis.
